Literacy Bingo players who complete 6 or more activities in a row on the bingo card can pick up their prizes - giftcards to local restaurants - at The Literacy Center during the Literacy Love! Coffee Hour & Open House on September 7th. Prizes can also be mailed.

Literacy Love!
Open House & Coffee Hour
Join TLC staff, volunteers, and students for an Open House at TLC, plus a morning cup of coffee and a pastry. Bring your favorite book, poem, essay, or other literary works and chat with fellow bookworms about your favorite stories - or just find a quiet spot and cozy up for some reading. If you are curious about The Literacy Center, this is a great opportunity to come see our building and meet our staff!

International Literacy Day
Since 1967, International Literacy Day (ILD) celebrations have taken place annually around the world to remind the public of the importance of literacy as a matter of dignity and human rights, and to advance the literacy agenda towards a more literate and sustainable society. Join TLC for a livestreamed, virtual event throughout the day to learn more about our work in literacy and help us raise funds for our literacy programming.
